The Speakers

Tobias Heining

President of the European Legal Tech Association

Tobias Heining is founding member and current President of the European Legal Tech Association (ELTA), as well as Director of Business Development & Communications (BD&C) at CMS in Germany."

The BD&C department at CMS also comprises a Research & Development unit which is responsible for developing technology-based legal advisory products and launched its first product in 2015. Prior to becoming BD&C Director at CMS, Tobias has been working as Consultant at a PR agency, as Marketing Manager at US law firm Gibson Dunn & Crutcher, joined CMS as BD Manager and headed the BD unit at CMS for a couple of years. In his various functions, Tobias Heining has been dealing with product development in law firms and its effects on the legal market as well as business models of the future since 2007. This also includes digitization strategy for law firms. Tobias studied History, Politics and Communications in Berlin, as well as Business Economics later on.

Ilan Admon

Co-Founder of LawGeex

Ilan Admon, CTO and co-founder LawGeex. As an Artificial Intelligence guru and expert programmer, Ilan has spent the last 20 years deeply involved with machine learning algorithms. An internet entrepreneur and experienced international CTO at several US Government Offices, banks and internet companies, Ilan now leads technology at LawGeex.

Dov Greenbaum

Professor of Law & Director, Zvi Meitar Inst. for Legal Implications of Emerging Technologies

Prof. Dov Greenbaum is the Director of the Zvi Meitar Institute for Legal Implications of Emerging Technologies Concurrently, he is also a researcher in the department of Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University."

Dov has degrees and post-doctoral fellowships from Yeshiva University, Yale University, University of California, Berkeley, ETH Zurich and Stanford University. In addition to his academic affiliation and training, he is also an intellectual property attorney (California & USPTO), with experience in the fields of biopharmaceutical litigation, and Hi-Tech patent drafting and prosecution, including drafting in the fields of robotics, software, computer hardware and defense.
