As law firms increasingly embrace and integrate legal technology into their operations, the legal tech landscape continues to evolve and expand. The year 2024 has been marked by significant transformation and resilience within the legal tech industry. Despite the challenges posed by the ongoing security situation, Israeli legal tech companies have demonstrated remarkable adaptability and innovation.
The demand for efficient, remote, and highly effective legal solutions has never been more urgent. Leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other advanced technologies, Israeli innovations streamline labor-intensive tasks, minimize the risk of errors, generate critical documents instantaneously, and organize administrative functions for law firms.
The 2023 roadmap of top Israeli legal tech companies (link) highlighted the accomplishments of 31 leaders in different legal areas.
The 2024 legal technology sector in Israel remains exceptionally dynamic, showcasing its capacity to meet market demands. Over the past year, legal tech companies have navigated a fluctuating and uncertain market, emphasizing the need for increased efficiency and simplicity for legal professionals.
This roadmap highlights the most prominent Israeli legal tech companies in their respective fields, demonstrating their ability to thrive in a vibrant economy and adapt to the continuously evolving legal tech landscape.
The updated 2024 list features 30 companies, including 27 from the previous list and 3 new additions: FirstRead, Flowz, and TechDin. The commitment of Israeli companies to innovate and advance the field of legal technology attests to the resilience of Israeli society during challenging times.

Claim Mining:
Darrow is a pioneering legal tech company that leverages advanced AI and data analytics to uncover hidden legal violations and opportunities. Founded in Israel, Darrow aims to democratize access to justice by identifying large-scale legal breaches and connecting affected individuals with legal representation. Its AI-driven Justice Intelligence platform extensively scours the internet to collect pertinent data and establish connections, enabling law firms to proactively address and litigate complex cases. Lawyers utilizing Darrow have instant access to all essential data, including key information that may have been overlooked without AI assistance. Darrow’s innovative approach not only enhances the efficiency and effectiveness of legal practices but also promotes social justice and corporate accountability. With offices in New York City and Tel Aviv, Darrow is supported by investors such as Entrée Capital, F2, NFX, and YCombinator. The company was co-founded by Evyatar Ben Artzi, who serves as CEO, and Gila Hayat, who serves as CTO. Elad Spiegelman, another co-founder, is no longer involved with Darrow.
DINO Law is a specialized software designed to simplify the process of filing small claims. By streamlining the creation and submission of judicial authority forms, DINO Law offers a comprehensive solution for managing small claims from start to finish. The software enables users to select the type of claim they wish to file, and in response, it generates a tailored questionnaire to guide them through the process. This user-friendly approach not only facilitates the production of necessary legal documents but also ensures efficient submission to the court, making the entire small claims procedure more accessible and less cumbersome.
Contract Review:
Superlegal is a cutting-edge legal tech company that leverages AI to surpass traditional contract review methods in speed, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness. By utilizing a combination of an in-platform contract editor and AI-assisted legal professionals, Superlegal significantly reduces legal costs by up to 90%, shortens the deal cycle by 70%, and ensures contract returns in less than 24 hours. The company emerged from LawGeex in September 2022, focusing on smaller companies without in-house legal teams. Headquartered in New York City, Superlegal was founded by Noory Bechor, who serves as CEO, and Ilan Admon, who serves as CTO. Approximately one-third of the LawGeex team transitioned to Superlegal, further bolstering its expertise and capabilities.
LawGeex, which evolved to serve both large and small companies, is an innovative legal tech firm specializing in AI-driven contract review. Founded in 2014 in Tel Aviv by Noory Bechor and Ilan Admon, LawGeex uses advanced machine learning algorithms to automate the contract review process. This ensures high accuracy and compliance while significantly reducing the time and cost involved in contract analysis. The platform caters to large corporations by streamlining their legal operations, enabling in-house legal teams to manage contracts more efficiently. LawGeex’s split into two entities in 2022 allowed it to address the unique needs of both large and small businesses more effectively, with Superlegal focusing on the latter.
E-Research / E-Discovery:
Pil is an automated SaaS solution designed for compliance management in financial and service institutions. Established in Israel in 2020 by founder and CEO Morly Dory and CTO Nir Landau, Pil offers a robust database of updated government agency regulations, streamlining the compliance process for its users. The platform boasts 14,717 regulation documents, a 98% user satisfaction rate, 3,480 monthly searches, and over 100 active users. Pil’s innovative approach eliminates the need for firms to create and manage internal checklists, providing a comprehensive and efficient compliance management solution. With over 30 commercial clients and 100 concurrent subscribers, Pil continues to lead in delivering effective compliance tools to the industry.
Narrative Links is a cutting-edge platform that simplifies the electronic investigation and discovery processes for legal professionals. This cloud-based solution offers an intuitive eDiscovery system, enabling lawyers to efficiently pinpoint key evidence within digital data, including emails, documents, databases, social media content, and more. Utilizing AI-driven technology, Narrative Links optimizes workflows and accelerates business growth potential by uncovering multifaceted insights to support informed decision-making and strategic focusing. Co-founded in 2022 by Alon Singer, a software engineer and lawyer, and Shlomit Elster, a seasoned financial executive and CPA, Narrative Links leverages their extensive experience in the legal service industry. Their comprehensive understanding of the professionals’ journey has driven them to harness the transformative potential of technology, setting a new standard for legal services.
FirstRead is an innovative legal tech company focused on unlocking the potential of contracts through AI-driven solutions. The platform simplifies contract management and analysis, enabling legal professionals to rapidly get answers from contracts, summarize key clauses, extract crucial insights and find specific legal language. By leveraging advanced technology, FirstRead enhances accuracy and speed in contract handling, making it an invaluable tool for law firms and businesses seeking to streamline their legal operations. Co-founded by Eran Lahav and Chen Kossover, FirstRead continues to lead the way in transforming contract management with cutting-edge technology.
Flowz is a versatile platform tailored for lawyers and legal professionals, empowering them to create custom workflows and automate business processes without requiring specialized technical skills. Designed to address the diverse needs and unique use cases within law firms, Flowz offers a drag-and-drop visual workflow builder, pre-built elements for common legal actions, and the ability to create custom elements with basic scripting. The platform includes a built-in database for managing case information, client data, and legal documents, with future capabilities to connect to external databases and integrate with APIs for seamless data exchange. Flowz enhances collaboration by allowing users to share workflows, manage permissions, and comment on designs to optimize legal processes. The secure cloud deployment ensures data privacy and compliance, with tools to manage and monitor workflows for optimal performance. Founded by Ido Shechter, Moshe Hatav, and Itai Alon, who serve as CEO, COO, and CTO respectively, Flowz leverages AI-driven technology to automate repetitive tasks, reduce manual errors, and improve efficiency. It supports various use cases such as client intake, document automation, and case management, making it a preferred choice for law firms seeking streamlined and effective electronic investigation tools.
Legal Document Automation:
TechDin provides cutting-edge legal document automation solutions, empowering users to draft complex legal documents swiftly and accurately. Created by Guideline Group, TechDin’s platform operates seamlessly as a keyboard extension, ensuring ease of use across various professional sectors, including law firms, insurance companies, and customer support teams. The October 2022 update introduced enhanced content management capabilities, including easier repository management and improved retrieval of completion proposals. This ensures that users can maintain high efficiency and accuracy in their legal document preparation. The platform swiftly generates insights, scours legal legislation, responds to legal questions, and has advanced search capabilities to deliver a comprehensive document automation solution and legal assistant.
Assist-Ant, founded in 2014 by Yaron Tanne, is a versatile software solution designed to streamline and enhance the writing process across various professional fields. This innovative tool automates the creation of legal documents, auto-completes forms, and finishes sentences, effectively eliminating the need for users to switch between multiple tabs. Functioning as a keyboard extension, Assist-Ant integrates seamlessly with any platform where text can be input, making it an invaluable resource for not only legal professionals but also for social media managers, insurance companies, healthcare providers, customer support teams, and sales departments. Additionally user-friendly content repository management system, enhanced performance in Outlook, and refined completion proposals, are features that boost efficiency and user experience.
Lightkey is a cutting-edge writing assistant designed to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of composing emails and drafting memos. Leveraging advanced predictive technology, Lightkey anticipates up to eighteen words ahead, adapting to the writer’s unique style and patterns over time. Available in free, pro, and business plans to accommodate various budgets, including those of law firms, Lightkey supports a wide range of applications and integrates seamlessly with Windows, MS Office, Chrome, and Edge. The software’s versatility extends to eighty-five languages, making it a globally trusted tool in 170 countries. Co-founded by Guy Katabi and Eran Brauer, who serve as CEO and Business Development Director respectively, Lightkey continues to innovate and support professionals in their writing endeavors.
LegalUp is a dynamic software solution designed to streamline the creation of custom legal documents by harnessing a firm’s specific knowledge and procedural patterns. Established in Israel in 2019 and now with a presence in New Jersey, LegalUp simplifies the document generation process by collecting key data through a user-friendly questionnaire, ensuring that each document is tailored to the client’s needs. This versatile tool is suitable for law firms of all sizes, in-house counsel, and legal business development teams. Notable users such as Deloitte, Glodfarb, and Pearl Cohen highlight LegalUp’s capability to enhance efficiency and accuracy in legal documentation.
ModuLegal stands at the forefront of legal tech innovation with its cloud-based self-service platform, revolutionizing the legal service workflow. Founded by Sarit Shemer Sliwowicz and Yoav Rotem, who serve as co-CEOs, ModuLegal prioritizes a user-friendly experience within a digital environment. The platform excels in streamlining lawyer-client communication, enhancing efficiency in information gathering, and automating document preparation. It offers flexibility by seamlessly integrating with existing legal workflows and templates, ensuring clients receive clear instructions tailored to their needs. Recently, ModuLegal has made strides in AI integration, leveraging natural language processing and machine learning to further enhance its cutting-edge capabilities, solidifying its position as a leader in merging AI technology with human legal expertise.
Access to Justice:
Clawdia.ai serves as an advanced automated legal assistant designed to streamline legal processes and mitigate potential errors. It provides comprehensive support by guiding users through complex legal topics and generating customized contracts tailored to their specific needs. Focused on aiding entrepreneurs, Clawdia.ai simplifies intricate legal terminology and offers essential tools for navigating the business landscape, all within the framework of US legal standards. The platform covers a broad range of legal documents, including NDAs, independent contractor agreements, employment contracts, privacy policies, and more. Co-founded by Vardit Legali and Shimon Magal, who serve as CEO and CTO respectively, Clawdia.ai continues to enhance legal efficiency and accessibility for businesses.
SueApp, established in 2018, is dedicated to simplifying the resolution of small legal disputes. Operating out of Tel Aviv under the leadership of CEO Tom Lavi, the company specializes in facilitating swift small claims filings, guiding users through the process in just ten minutes. Their pricing structure encompasses SueApp’s commission, state fees, and service provider charges. While headquartered in Tel Aviv, SueApp focuses significantly on handling claims in Florida. Beyond its core services, SueApp has forged strategic alliances with global entities such as Amazon, NVIDIA, Select USA Stats, and the Israel Innovation Authority, underscoring its commitment to enhancing accessibility and efficiency in small claim litigation worldwide.
Lexense, launched in 2020 by co-founders Yedidya Nisan (CEO) and Ilya Schukin (CTO), is committed to democratizing access to legal justice through an innovative model for civil claims. Their approach ensures that customers only pay after they win their claim, alleviating financial risk if the case is unsuccessful. Lexense specializes in a range of legal areas, including car accidents, employment disputes, rental and housing issues, personal injury, and defamation. With offices in Tel Aviv and Scottsdale, Arizona, Lexense continues to offer comprehensive support while prioritizing accessibility and fairness for its clients.
Ettorney, spearheaded by founder and CEO Ron Hadar, is revolutionizing the online legal services landscape in Israel with a focus on accessibility and transparency. Established to streamline interactions between clients and legal professionals, Ettorney offers a broad range of fixed-price services tailored for startups, small businesses, and individuals. Their offerings include company formation, bank account and tax file setup, trademark registration, wills and inheritance planning, and company dissolution, among others. By prioritizing clarity, fair pricing, and efficient service, Ettorney has positioned itself as the leading provider of online legal solutions in the region, aiming to transform the legal experience for its clients.
OWL Global, co-founded in 2020 by Bertrand Hasson and CTO Eli Berin, is dedicated to advancing justice through innovative technology. Based in Hertzliya, the company provides a SaaS platform specifically designed to manage class action lawsuits and settlements. OWL Global’s mission is to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of legal processes, aiming to benefit all parties involved by streamlining complex litigation and settlement procedures.
Online Dispute Resolution:
Disputec offers an innovative approach to conflict resolution through its unique three-step process. The platform initiates dialogue between disputing parties—employees and employers—by using a series of binary (yes/no) questions to gather and compare responses. This process helps identify discrepancies and gaps in the parties’ positions, facilitating a compromise based on these insights. Disputec’s system blends elements of both legal counsel and therapeutic communication, aiming to foster mutual understanding and resolve disputes more effectively. By focusing on clear, binary reasoning, Disputec strives to streamline the resolution process and achieve practical outcomes through structured negotiation.
Conflictteam, now rebranded as conflict.law, is an online dispute resolution platform led by CEO David Lagziel. The platform specializes in resolving financial disputes, sales negotiations, debts, divorce settlements, and partnership dissolutions without external mediation. Utilizing a sophisticated algorithm, conflict.law seeks to find a fair compromise by considering each party’s proposals and offering additional chances for negotiation if initial offers are rejected. The system is designed to reach a mutually agreeable solution within a 30-day timeframe. Despite recent updates to their website, conflict.law remains focused on achieving amicable resolutions through its innovative approach to dispute management.
Practice Management:
LLABO enhances law firm case management by integrating digital communication, task management, and document handling into a single platform. It supports a range of features including video meetings, task tracking, e-signatures, cloud storage, a comprehensive document editor, and a secure communication channel to eliminate information silos. Since its launch in 2022, LLABO has been a leading all-in-one solution for legal communication and case management, under the leadership of CEO Elad Almalem and Co-Founder and Director of Business Development Assaf Noy.
BoarDirector offers a comprehensive suite of features, including document storage, meeting scheduling, reminder setting, agenda creation, and project collaboration. It distinguishes itself as “the only software of its kind” that facilitates board meetings, ensures regulatory compliance, drafts protocols, and tracks decision implementation. BoarDirector is developed and maintained by SQLink, positioning it as a leading project management solution.
Cligal empowers lawyers to submit court documents seamlessly within seconds, ensuring high-quality, professional results free from the errors often associated with manual processes. This platform can autofill paperwork, send documents for signatures, edit PDFs, and redact confidential information from legal documents before sharing them. Owned by Dor Goldiner, Cligal serves as a comprehensive solution for document management and automation. It is the preferred software for over 10,000 attorneys and law firms, including Israel’s 25 largest law firms, the Ministry of Justice, the Knesset, the Tax Authority, and more.
Practice Management – Hours and Billing:
BTAX is a pioneering online service that transforms tax calculation. Led by CEO Avi Becker, the platform aims to simplify the tax calculation process and offers a variety of technological solutions for real estate taxation. According to their website, BTAX is the preferred choice of hundreds of law firms, enhancing the level of service and professionalism they offer to their clients. Since 2016, BTAX has delivered solutions for appreciation and currency calculations, as well as transaction management calculations.
Legal Cyber Security:
Valire leverages AI technology to deliver cutting-edge fraud detection and advanced cybersecurity solutions. Their self-learning, cognitive software identifies vulnerabilities to cyber breaches and attacks, providing robust protection for companies. The platform issues real-time alerts in response to potentially fraudulent activities. Under the leadership of CEO Shlomo Gilead, Founder and CTO Amir Weinberg, and CRO Daniel Moore, Valire remains committed to equipping companies with analytical tools to safeguard their data against cyber threats and breaches.
Advanscreen is a comprehensive, user-friendly solution designed to help businesses and organizations comply with anti-money laundering and terrorist financing regulations. This system streamlines the process of background checks and customer name screenings against top sanction lists and public information sources.
Co-founded in 2018 in Tel Aviv by Idan Levy and Oded Merhav, Advanscreen remains under their leadership, with Idan serving as CEO and Oded as a board member. Advanscreen protects clients from engaging with sanctioned entities, thereby preventing penalties. The software integrates its proprietary Search Engine, Compliance Guru, and Social Intelligence tools into a single, reliable platform used by 3.5 million regulated businesses in the US alone.
Founded in 2019, SpecterX excels in providing secure data control globally. The platform offers access to information and tasks from anywhere in the world while maintaining stringent security measures to ensure only authorized individuals can gain access. Co-founder and CEO Nimrod Barel, Co-founder and CTO Guy Hizkiau, and Chairman Daniel Barel underscore the importance of security through SpecterX Gravity. Integrity Software, a subsidiary of Matrix, specializes in cybersecurity and software virtualization. Their endpoint solutions are designed to cater to the unique needs of businesses, offering a comprehensive suite of services supported by 24/7 service level agreements. Acquired by Matrix in 2018, Integrity Software was honored with the prestigious “Golden Partner” award for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region by Silverfort in 2021. Erez Goldstein, who founded the company in 2011, continues to serve as President, bringing over 12 years of leadership experience. The company’s executive team includes CEO Oren Krug, who has been in his role for the past two years, and CTO Erez Baruch.
Legal Outsourcing:
LawFlex, established in 2015 in Tel-Aviv is an innovative Alternative Legal Service Provider (ALSP). This platform uniquely connects clients with a network of more than 1,700 freelance lawyers through sophisticated matching software. LawFlex ensures the optimal pairing of clients with legal professionals by considering various criteria, offering affordable services without contractual obligations. The company operates in 24 jurisdictions and supports 18 languages, providing custom proposals within 24 hours. LawFlex is trusted by prominent companies like Sodastream, Caesarstone, Lumenis, and Gett. Recognized for excellence, LawFlex has been named a Chambers Top Ranked Alternative Legal Service Provider consecutively since 2021 until 2024. Co-founders Jackie Donner and Zohar Fisher have guided the company since its inception.

Their absence highlights the competitive nature of the legal tech market, where some companies may face too many challenges while others continue to thrive and innovate.
- ApprentAI – the company was founded in 2021 but sadly was no longer in operation by the end of 2023. The co-founders both have moved on: Or Bar is the founder of Adv. Or Bar Law Office, and Matan Ben Zion is now a professor of Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University Nijmegen.
- LitiGate – the company was seemingly sold and no longer under operation as LitiGate. CEO Nimrod Aharon is now the Product and Business Strategy Advisor at Darrow.
